Our research project uses visual culture as a lens through which we might examine technological proposals for "fixing the climate" and the systems of knowledge production, representation, values, and beliefs that inform them. We looked at a wide range of works by contemporary artists and designers, some of which directly address geoengineering, and others that touch on themes related to climate modeling and modification. This compendium of projects is far from complete and we welcome suggestions for things that should be added (or removed) from our list.
